Stripes ...ready for sailing

I'm really in love with stripes this season. Chanel dresses with blue and red stripes look real sexy, also matching boots, was thinking about getting thouse, but winter hit us unexpectedly, so I put that idea away. And I'm sure stripes will be out of my mind by spring, so I will enjoy it now as much as I can.

Winter is coming...

For those who know what cold winter means....

Its now November, 1 month before Winter starts by calendar.. but probably another few months until it really starts, so we have some time to think and get prepared. Just for a second - think of a summer, how is it for you... white and bright.. sunny, great mood.. beach... sand. Now, back to reality, for a lot of people winter is a some sort of depression time. Why not make it bright and colourful and enjoy it? Even though the weather might be just dreadful- windy, rainy, snowy.. snowy and windy.. or rainy ad windy, then so icy that you afraid to make another step. When I think about that weather I personally want to cry and start searching for get away hols, but another warm feeling that keeps me going is New Year time and Christmas preparation, but really, there are another 2 and for lots eastern countries another 4 aweful months trying to survive.

To make it more positive we shall try choose at least positive coats and furs...some do make you look fat, some make you look fun, some are really stylish, some are piece of art, some are posh... Lets talk about these.

For your great bright coat dont forget bright accessories... Of course you dont want to look like a clown, so if you choose bright coat and scarf + hat.. try to slow down on your bag + boots... and vice versa: Christmas time is coming- its most wonderful party time of the year, we all get on a certain mood, so lets make it brighter for ourselves and for the loved ones around :)))

Fashion and our Age

Fashion is fashion and exists on its own. Its an art, which is a bit modified by a certain system, like world known designers. Designers give us a general lead, something to follow, they make some standards.. colour , shape, patterns, material trends, etc. Of course, after all, we create our own image the way we see it ourselves. There are rules to be applied, so it looks fabulous and fashionable.. and not "crazy". But, again, for some people looking crazy is the way to express themslves and they consider it fashion too.

So what about fashion and us being at certain age. Not everything suits to everyone, and what rocks when you are 16 is not really suitable for when you are 30. And most of the time women dont want to understand that. Or maybe they dont realize they are not teenagers anymore, dont want believe that youth is passed and micky mouse on your t-shirt when you are 35 is just wrong and quite sad.

It doesnt mean you have to be dark and boring after bright teenage years. But as you grow older your closet becomes more representative, materials become more natural and richer. You still can create yourself a funky image, to show off your independance, your protest or any other feeling or emotion that we often try to show off with the way we look. But do it right and you will stand out as a beautiful and tasteful person. There are already too many people who look just ridiculous trying to show us they are something different. Well, we all are,  but when you look like crazy cat lady you only show that you are really messed up in your head instead of anything else.
